Operations Manager
We’re on the lookout for a super-organised, dynamic and passionate Operations Manager to oversee a team of Regional Coordinators at ReefTO.
Over the next 12-18 months, you and a team of three (3) Regional Coordinators will be at the forefront of building authentic, lasting relationships with Traditional Owners across the Great Barrier Reef. You’ll lead regional engagement in your allocated geographic zone, but you’ll also have an additional set of operational responsibilities.
Events Manager
We’re looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic (not to mention super-organised) event maestro with a passion for creating unforgettable experiences! If you have a knack for coordinating events with Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander communities, we want you on our team. You should be a logistics wizard, able to spot gaps and risks in event plans with ease.
Executive Assistant
We’re looking for an enthusiastic, super-organised, administrative extraordinaire to keep us on track, help drive our work and support the ReefTO Taskforce, comprised of Reef Traditional Owners. This role is diverse – you’ll need 3-5 years experience providing rockstar-level support to senior executives and know your way around the MS Office Suite with your eyes closed. You should be a whizz at learning systems and have a knack for identifying how things can be done more efficiently. With our team based all along the Great Barrier Reef coast, communication and a can-do attitude is key.
Regional Coordinators (x3)
Dive into an exhilarating adventure with ReefTO! We have an exciting opportunity for up to three (3) specialists in cultural engagement and community consultation to join ReefTO as Regional Coordinators. You will help foster genuine, lasting relationships with Traditional Owners of the Great Barrier Reef, ensuring their voices are heard and incorporated into decision-making processes.
We’re seeking those who are not only passionate about Traditional Owner rights but also have the skills to lead group meetings and simplify complex information. The job to be done is meaningful and the roles provide the opportunity to influence a key moment in history for Reef Traditional Owners, though it will require resilience and determination. With strong cultural competency and existing relationships in the Reef catchment, you will work alongside a talented team of staff and an inspirational group of Taskforce members, contributing to a transformative vision for the Reef.
We have other vacancies opening soon.
All positions will be flexible in location (Queensland strongly preferred, and required in some cases), full-time and on 3-year fixed term contracts.
All positions are identified, with a preference for Reef Traditional Owners, but open to other Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander people.
